The Neighborhood Bar is the hidden gem among Santa Barbara bars. It has a lot to offer from pool, ping pong, beer pong, fuel TV playing in the back ground, and a Internet juke box with lots of songs. The Big buck hunter video game, a pitcher of Alaskan IPA and a large meat maniac pizza is my usual meal. When summer hits this is the place to be! You can ride your bike from the beach to the bar in 2min. and every one always locks there bikes to the front rail at the bar and it shows just how green us Santa Barbarians can be! The Neighborhood is the locals favorite bar in the Santa Barbara nightlife scene.
Excellent food for an amazing price, helpful and friendly staff any given night of the week. Bartenders and bouncers alike will always treat you like a welcome regular and it indeed feels like being in a hometown neighborhood. Let’s not forget the Pabst Blue Ribbon tall cans. The Neighborhood Bar was voted one of the best restaurants santa barbara has to offer in 2009. If you need special events catering, they have you covered. Santa barbara restaurants can be hit and miss, The Neighborhood Bar has everything you could ask for a fun filled santa barbara nightlife.
If you happen to be taking one of the Santa barbara tours, or trolleys, you will likely to see the Neighborhood bar, on the corner of Bath and Montecito. It’s not exactly one of those glitzed out Santa barbara clubs, rather it is more of a low key fun local hangout spot with ping pong, billiards, buckhunter and many other fun games. If you are looking for the local santa barbara things to do - check this bar out for a taste of the ‘real’ Santa Barbara. They have the best low budget dining Santa Barbara has to offer. The Neighborhood Bar is one of a kind. Ping Pong, Billiards, Darts, Buck Hunter, Foozball, big screen TV's, endless supplies of beer and good food! The best part about the Neighborhood is the people, both the bartenders and the patrons are down to earth, laid back, and fun people to be around.
